Jesus is an all or nothing kinda deal. When He called you into relationship with Him, He called you to a life lived for Him- totally and completely. He doesn’t just want bits and pieces of your life, but all of it. He wants all of you and when you give Him all of you, you receive all of Him.
When you give all of you to Jesus, you begin to dream. You dream of starting ministries or places you may be sent to go and tend to the lost. Giving all to Jesus is a life of the unknown, of getting used to the uncomfortable.
Jesus never called us to be uncomfortable or to be safe, instead He called us to take up our cross daily and follow Him. [Luke 9:23]
It is scary, but there is absolutely no other life or experience like it. With Jesus, you begin to dream of things you never would have before. You begin to live a self-sacrificial life, one you didn’t intend, but one Jesus transforms in you.
Jesus promises to give us a hope and a future, one we could never ever dream up on our own- but we will never see that hope or future if we are living in a bubble full of ourselves.
I challenge you today to look at your life right in this moment and ask yourself what you are living for.
