2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
Thank you for making us aware of what is happening, thank you for bringing it to our attention. We pray for those who are being persecuted because of their love for you and for them wanting to spread your gospel. Thank you for making them such a statement of courage for us. We pray that they would be covered and empowered with your Holy Spirit and continue to worship you in these times of hardship. We pray that they would never take their eyes off of you, but would continually seek you with all of their heart and find comfort under your wings. We pray that your grace would overflow their hearts and enrich them with strength, with courage, with endurance, with hope, with peace, and abundantly with your love and presence. We pray that they would remember that your grace is enough and your power is made perfect in weakness. We pray that they would always remember your faithfulness. We pray for the ones who are persecuting. We pray that you would convict their hearts and they would turn from evil and be open to what you are trying to tell them. Lord, we pray that their hearts and minds would be repentant and intrigued by you. We pray that you would bless them with wisdom and they would come to believe and be saved and transformed by your blood. Show them your grace and have mercy on them Father, turn them from their corrupt ways and into lives that glorify you. Help us to continually remember the persecuted and the ones persecuting in prayer. Break our hearts for them Lord. Thank you that we can find comfort under your wings no matter where we are. Thank you that your love reaches to every inch of the earth and that you are always faithful.
In Your Name, Amen.
Prayer is powerful, prayer is our greatest weapon, and our closet communion with God. Pray always.
