“in you.”

God transforms hearts in totally unbelievable ways.

He wants to restore you. He wants to heal you. He wants to fill the emptiness in your soul with His life- changing love.

You need only to be still and let Him. Dwell with Him and He will transform you. He will do all the work.

God keeps reminding me of Paul.

A little background on Paul: He was first called Saul and he absolutely hated Christians. He persecuted them, simply for believing in Jesus. But God had a bigger, mightier plan for this murderer. In Acts 9, Saul is on his way to Damascus to murder more Christians, but on his way a light flashes before him and the son of God appears. He calls to Saul saying, “why do you persecute me?” and Saul responds saying, “who are you, Lord?” and Jesus tells him to get up and go into Damascus and there he will find out what he is supposed to do. There Saul begins to preach the gospel to the people of this city. And later, his name is changed to Paul who writes most of the new testament.

This blows my mind. God had a totally different plan for this man. God had a purpose for this man. He poured Himself into Paul and transformed him into a follower who preached to various nations, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

God doesn’t give up. Believe me. He pursues and he pursues you over and over again and again and again. Open up the door. Open it already.

He wants to do something incredible with your life. He wants to use you and He wants to use you in ways you never even thought possible.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

God has been showing me how amazing this process is. But amazing things don’t come easy; they take time, patience, work, trials, and sufferings. But it is so worth it. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Maybe He has already began that good work in you, or maybe today is the very beginning. The journey to God’s heart is incredibly astonishing and you will discover a love that will shake you up and get you all fiery and passionate inside, one that this world will never give you.

My prayer for you today is that you will take His hand and begin this journey to His heart.

….and hopefully pause along the way to tell me your story:)
