“I lack nothing.”

-Psalm 23

In Jesus, I am totally and completely free.

Free to love, to dance, to offer, to be. To be all of me. All that He has created me to be. I have never discovered a love so great as this one. A love that is so deep, so wide, so long. A love that is unchangeable, unending, never failing.

A love that is constant, someone who is constant.

Constant: (of a person) unchangingly faithful and dependable.

We as human beings dreadfully and inevitably fail at being constant. The only thing we are constant in is not being constant. We are affected deeply by our circumstances, our relationships, our fears, our failures, our successes, and how we are treated daily- which all play into our consistency or lack thereof.

Our love fails. It gives up. It runs out.

But Jesus. God. Our only constant.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Please be amazed by this. Don’t take this verse as a grain of salt, but be transformed by it no matter where you are in your walk or your curiosity.

He promises us that He will never change. No matter how many times we curse His name, go against Him, lie to Him, ignore Him, hate Him, doubt Him, He will not change. His love for you will not decrease. It is a constant love.

“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying : I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

And His love is transforming, it is mind blowing. His love is a grand adventure that I never want to stop being apart of. Jesus is a discovery of unending love.

So take this adventure, what have you got to lose? It is free and it is freeing.
